Every year, Global Greengrants reaches over 1,000 grassroots groups, from the Pacific Islands to the Arctic. Guided by the steadfast theory that small steps spark big change, Greengrants believes these movements have the power to address the root causes of the climate crisis and make fundamental changes to broken systems. Through their work, Greengrants’ grassroots partners have improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, protecting the ecosystems and resources upon which we all depend, and confronting the inequalities and discrimination that divide us.

Together, the Honnold Foundation and Global Greengrants are funding small, grassroots solar energy access projects that increase social equity and reduce environmental impact.
